Volunteer Opportunities
Over the past two years, volunteers have played an important role at WSP, offering their services as English teachers, translators, office assistants, consultants, and more. WSP provides transportation and meals coupons to our volunteer corps. For information about how to volunteer, call 718-828-9772.
We're currently searching for a volunteer ESOL teacher to help with our weekly English classes. If you have any interest in helping an eager, motivated group of students gain practical language skills, please contact us!
Internship Opportunities
WSP is in constant need of skilled, experienced interns to help with the many programs we provide. This summer we are hoping to expand our research and analysis capabilities, our outreach efforts, and our new programming. As of June 2012, we are offering three new internships. Participatory Research Intern - aid in the administration of our multiple research programs by doing qualitative interviews, performing data entry and analysis, and maintaining our donor database. Bengali fluency required.

Program & Outreach Intern - assist in organizing the expansion of our community programs and contribute to Community Health Workers' outreach efforts

Social Media Intern - help to manage WSP's online presence by updating our website and Facebook page and writing our monthly electronic newsletter.
